Pastor Kirchoff was born and raised in Columbus, Indiana. He graduated in 1995 from the Fort Wayne Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity. With 29 years of ordained ministry, Pastor Scott has faithfully served in a variety of roles, including church planter, associate pastor, parish pastor, prison chaplain, supervisory chaplain, and military chaplain.

Retired as a full-time prison chaplain with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Pastor Scott brings a wealth of experience and a heart for serving others. During his time as a supervisory chaplain, he implemented innovative programs to support the spiritual growth of incarcerated individuals. His role as a church planter allowed him to understand healthy and thriving congregations, and his military chaplaincy deepened his commitment to ministering to people in diverse circumstances.

Pastor Scott is married to Sonja, and together they are proud parents of two adult sons who both serve as officers in the United States Air Force. He considers his family his greatest blessing and priority.

Now serving as the pastor of Holy Lamb Lutheran Church in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Pastor Scott is excited to embark on this new chapter. He looks forward to nurturing faith, fostering community, and partnering with the congregation to share Christ’s love. With his extensive experience and deep commitment to the Gospel, he is eager to lead Holy Lamb in serving the unique needs of the Myrtle Beach community.

Linda is the Holy Lamb office secretary.

She and her husband, Dave, lived east of Newark Ohio where Linda worked for Echoing Hills Village Inc. in their corporate office first in finance and after 4 years as the HR Generalist.  

They moved to South Carolina in 2020 and enjoy living in Conway.  Linda crochets, makes cards, gardens and loves to have friends and family stay and visit!
