You have a divine purpose. Not just “church people” or pastors
or saints in stained glass – but you.

God has placed you in your family, your workplace, your neighborhood, and this church for
a reason. The Spirit who called you in baptism continues to shape and guide your life, sanctifying you day by day.

As we engage in the necessary busy-ness of transition it is easy to become distracted from the essential ministry and mission of the church. Keeping mission and ministry ‘front and center,’ while adding all the tasks associated with the call process means that we will busier than ever. This is certainly true for my schedule as well.
