December 2022

You have a divine purpose. Not just “church people” or pastors
or saints in stained glass – but you.

God has placed you in your family, your workplace, your neighborhood, and this church for
a reason. The Spirit who called you in baptism continues to shape and guide your life, sanctifying you day by day.

December might be thought of as a month of both anticipation and celebration. We anticipate Christmas – and celebrate of the birth of Jesus. We anticipate a new year – and celebrate its arrival with a grand party that typically ends when the new year begins. Our lives may often seem like an endless sequence of anticipation and, if we are fortunate, celebration.
